We are proud to announce that Gourmand has passed the EcoVadis certificate with distinction!
EcoVadis is an independent organisation that assesses companies worldwide in relation to sustainable business practices. The name EcoVadis is a pun on ecology and Quo vadis : 'where are we going?'
The silver medal proves that we more than meet many of the questions that were asked regarding our vision and its concrete application.
There are 4 sub-areas that are assessed for obtaining the certificate. In the areas of Labour and Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement, we achieved very good scores. In the Environmental area, we even achieved an "Excellent" as a result.
This certificate is a first step and proof that we are on the right track. However, we have even more ambition and we want to distinguish ourselves even further in the coming years.
